‘Step Into Spring’ with Downtown Batavia’s inaugural wine walk
Spring is finally in the air, and downtown Batavia is ready to celebrate! Tickets are still available for Step into Spring: Wine Walk, Batavia MainStreet’s new springtime event, on Saturday, March 21, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Don’t miss this chance to sip, shop, and stroll through 14 participating downtown businesses, each offering 1-oz. wine tastings with both red and white options at every stop.
Tickets are $39 and can be purchased now at downtownbatavia.com. With limited availability and strong early interest, organizers encourage wine lovers to grab their tickets before they sell out.
“Whether you’re gathering friends for a fun afternoon or planning a unique date day, Step into Spring: Wine Walk is the perfect way to shake off winter and welcome the warmer days ahead,” said Kristen Desler, assistant director of Batavia MainStreet.
Guests will enjoy a self-guided walking tour through historic downtown Batavia, sampling wines while exploring unique shops, boutiques, and local businesses. This festive event is designed to bring people together and showcase the charm and energy of downtown in a fresh, springtime way.
Each ticket includes:
• Fourteen 1-oz. wine pours at participating locations
• Red and white wine options at every stop
• A commemorative wine glass and lanyard
• A sweet treat to enjoy along the walk
• A spring-inspired photo booth
• An event map to guide participants
Proceeds from Step into Spring: Wine Walk directly support Downtown Batavia businesses through regional marketing, promotional efforts, and free business support provided by Batavia MainStreet, helping keep the downtown vibrant and thriving year-round.
Batavia MainStreet thanks Presenting Sponsors K. Hollis Jewelers, Boutique & Wine Bar and Ignite Medical Resort Batavia, along with Comfort Care Heating & Air Conditioning, the Lanyard Sponsor, for helping bring this inaugural event to life.
