Pace bus driver punched in Des Plaines
A Pace bus driver was punched in the face by a passenger Thursday in Des Plaines, police said.
The attack occurred about 6 a.m. aboard a bus on the 400 block of West Touhy Avenue. The assailant became upset when he was confronted about pulling the stop-requested cord, according to a news release.
After punching the driver, the passenger fled on foot.
Police said the assailant was a man in his 20s wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a blue mask.
