Q&A

What is your top issue and how do you propose to address it?

Top issue is getting back to the most importance of being elected addressing the needs and concerns of the people in the 9th congressional district. Inflation/cost of living, the ECONOMY. How do we help the people? My plans are to form advisory committees within each city, village and township, in the district to learn the needs and concerns of the people and then, forming a foundation to help families with children. And other unique or special needs situations.

Do you support the unilateral foreign policy course President Trump has taken with such actions as the bombing of Iran, assaults on Venezuelan ships and the seizure of the Venezuelan president?

IRAN: I DO NOT SUPPORT THE BOMBING OF IRAN.

I do not support subjecting and creating extreme hardship in a group of people, when the problems can be solved without BOMBING. Nor killings of protesters.

VENEZUELA:

I was once told there’s always more to a particular situation than what's reported in the news. Was it legal for the USA to seize oil ships under international law? Helping the people of Venezuela, thriving country, building up infrastructure, making a better economy, I SUPPORT the initiative. Tough situation.

Seizure of Venezuela President:

The secrecy plans of capturing the Venezuelan president, understandable for security purposes. Was this action legal under international law? To be determined.

Helping other country become thriving economies should be the USA's mission as, the primary superpower of the world.

In the 80’s, I learned from Tony Robbins, and it works: In all NEGOTIATIONS, there must be that win-win solution for all parties involved, each must get something out of the deal, it must be FAIR.

Additionally, I learned from Stedman Graham in LEADERSHIP: it's important to find the right team to implement your plan.

The executive branch has expanded its powers in recent years on foreign policy, economic tariffs, executive orders and more. Are you satisfied with the direction these activities are moving? If so, why? If not, what needs to be done differently?

I am satisfied to a degree; however, it is the process by which some of these foreign policies, tariffs and executive orders have been implemented, that is the issue.

Foreign policies: cutting aid to underdeveloped countries where people are starving, need medical attention, is concerning when you're the primary superpower of the world.

I would hope we can work towards more peaceful solutions, over wars, creating wars.

Tariffs: the key supplying countries of consumer goods to the USA (China, Mexico, Canada, Japan and Germany and Vietnam, more consideration should have been taken into effect, based on effects to the USA consumer. Not a good thing to cause increase of prices on consumer goods we use the most. Executive Orders: appears good direction on some. However, I.C.E., implementation of orders, not the best process. And, Congress and the Senate should have stepped in earlier and requested the agents try to do their jobs without harming constituents. However, it is also, the responsibility of Congress and Senate to advise constituents, to protest freely but not harass the agents. Its most unfortunate two deaths occurred. Congress and Senate should have stepped in earlier.

What should U.S. border policy be? If elected, what would you do to make it happen?

Continue as they are with the prevention of children being separated from parents, provide better holding facilities those detained, and illegals of whom are transported by state officials to sanctuary cities despite federal pressure implement some sort of Identification ID system (ID card with fingerprint, address of state facility from entry-to-entry sanctuary city.) To know who was sent where. 2023, about 30,000 individuals were bussed to Chicago from Texas. However, it's not known, who these individuals were, which is why, I am assuming ICE is here looking for possible criminal of who fled their country to come here. ID's for entry into USA, until appropriate using one thumb print, if not a human violation

What should be the government’s role in assuring health care for Americans? What should be done regarding the ACA to better perform this function?

Conduct audits to ensure fairness, no unnecessary medical treatment to individuals, just because they are Medicaid recipients. Work towards non-racial health system for all. FAIRNESS across board when it comes to health care, prescription and procedures. Hopefully, we can one day get to a universal healthcare plan system for all Americans, as other countries have. And, find a way to provide funding to major medical institutions, which would allow them to expand into communities, providing the care needed.

What is your vision for a solution to conflicts involving Israel and the Palestinians? What should the United States be doing to advance this position?

It's simple, should have happened before the country was demolished to rumble. Two state solution. Rebuilding with two state solution, allowing Palestinians to return to their homeland. However, I think, Israel should knowledge, what they have done is wrong, now, not 20 to 50 years from now. That is the only way we will be able to move forward.
