Forest management ignored in wildfires
I believe we have climate change issues that affect our entire world, some caused by man, most caused by Mother Nature. Perhaps the Daily Herald and other news media could focus on the lack of forestry management in Canada, California. and much of the federal lands in the western United States.
This issue has been swept under the rug by environmentalists who want our world to go back to pre-human times. We don't live there now, nor will we. Three, four hundred years ago, Mother Nature burned the forests and cleaned things out. People now want to live in the forest. Perhaps fire management could accomplish many goals and desires? Dirty word, compromise.
