Two hurt in early morning crash on I-90 near Huntley

Two people were injured in crash involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer early Thursday morning on Interstate 90 near Huntley.

Illinois State Police officials said the crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-90 near Route 47.

The driver and a passenger in the passenger vehicle were transported to a hospital. State police did not release information about the extent of the injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer did not report any injuries.

Two right lanes were closed as part of the investigation for several hours.
