The real blame for street protests
Charles Falk wrote that our immigration problem is not the fault of President Trump, that he is only doing what he promised to do. He puts all the blame on Joe Biden for not taking care of immigration issues sooner. He also called the resultant “riots” in Minnesota and other cities a result of this inaction.
First of all, let’s remind you that these are hardly riots. They are protests and for the most part they are peaceful. They are loud, yes; however, a riot is marked by public chaos and destruction of property and melees in the streets and so on. This is clearly not the case.
Why is this happening? Because people are outraged at the attack on our civil liberties. President Trump likes to attack those who disagree with him no matter what and it is he who has weaponized the justice system to do his will. He has accused Joe Biden of doing just what he himself is doing now.
And let me remind you of one other thing. The Democrats and Republicans had a bipartisan agreement on border control. Joe Biden initiated this policy. It was Donald Trump who told the Republican Party to not get involved with this. Why? Because if there was progress on border control, then he could be in a disadvantageous position with the upcoming elections. So to be clear, we could’ve had a border policy in place and much of this could be stopped, but Donald Trump didn’t want it and the Republicans caved in on it.
And this is the fault of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. I am astounded how people cannot see through this man and his utter selfishness and avarice.
