No one hurt in Des Plaines house fire

No one was hurt Friday in a house fire on the 500 block of Patricia Lane in Des Plaines.

The blaze, which started in the garage of the house, was reported by a resident about 2:15 p.m., according to a news release. The resident got out safely.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire, which appeared to be accidental but is under investigation.

The house was deemed uninhabitable.
