Mundelein’s mayor gives first State of the Village speech
Mundelein Mayor Robin Meier talked about tourism, public safety, diversity and other aspects of local life during her first State of the Village presentation this week.
The village’s arts scene, economic development, local infrastructure were among the other topics discussed.
A video of Meier’s nearly hourlong presentation can be found on the village’s website, mundelein.org.
The speech has been an annual tradition started by Meier’s predecessor, Steve Lentz. Meier was elected mayor last year after Lentz chose not to seek reelection.
