Des Plaines’ Krasa Burgers in line for liquor license

A newly opened restaurant in Des Plaines could be awarded a liquor license Tuesday night.

The Des Plaines City Council is scheduled to give final approval for a license for Krasa Burgers and Shawarma, 1262 Lee St.

The restaurant opened in late January. It’s a sister restaurant to a similarly named joint at 1141 N. Ashland Ave. in Chicago.

Monday’s council meeting is set for 7 p.m. at city hall, 1420 Miner St.
