Step up for a cause at Oak Brook Park District’s annual Pink 5K on May 9
The Oak Brook Park District invites residents and neighbors to lace up, come together, and make a meaningful impact at the annual Pink 5K on Saturday, May 9, in Central Park.
This inspiring event combines fitness, community, and philanthropy. The event supports the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation Open Arms Breast Cancer Outreach Fund, which provides free mammograms to women facing gaps in insurance coverage.
One hundred percent of net proceeds go directly to the fund, and every $250 raised provides one life-changing screening.
Community spirit drives the Pink 5K each year, transforming a simple run or walk into a morning of hope, strength, and community connection.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to run or walk the scenic chip-timed course, whether honoring a loved one, supporting neighbors, or simply showing up for the cause.
Early bird registration is available through Saturday, Feb. 28, helping the event build momentum toward its charitable mission.
The Pink 5K is made possible thanks to generous community sponsors including our Presenting Sponsors: UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale Corporate Sponsors: Old Second National Bank, Avlon, CNH, The Sheridan at Oak Brook, and Support Sponsor Republic Bank.
The event, which is open to all ages and paces, will begin at 8 a.m. at Central Park, 1450 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook.
