Dive into adventure with St. James School’s production of ‘Finding Nemo, Jr.’

The vibrant world of the Great Barrier Reef will come alive in Arlington Heights when the St. James School Broadway Bulldogs present Disney’s “Finding Nemo, Jr.”

Performances are 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, and Saturday, Feb. 14, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at St. James School, 820 N. Arlington Heights Road. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at stjamesschoolah.org.

With a one hour run-time and no intermission, it is the perfect outing for families and young children.

This show aims to take audiences on a bright visual adventure, putting a musical spin on the Disney/Pixar classic. The production includes characters such as Marlin, the anxious dad; his optimistic friend Dory; the wise sea turtle Crush; the friendly great white shark Bruce; the helpful pelican Nigel; the Tank Gang; the adventurous Nemo and more.

The cast and crew is 52 members strong and is composed entirely of students in sixth through eighth grade. Direction, choreography and music are all led by an experienced production team, and talented local artists have come together to bring the set design and costumes to life.
