South Barrington police to boost patrols this weekend

With people celebrating the Super Bowl, South Barrington police will conduct extra road patrols this upcoming weekend, the department announced.

The enhanced efforts — designed to keep intoxicated drivers off the road — will run Friday through early Monday.

Police also will be looking for distracted drivers, speeders and people not wearing seat belts.
