10th Congressional District’s Schneider, Coghill to meet in virtual forum Feb. 19

The Democratic candidates running to represent Illinois’ 10th District in Congress will talk about the issues facing the nation Feb. 19 in a virtual forum.

U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider of Highland Park and challenger Morgan Coghill of Mundelein will meet in the forum at 7 p.m. It’s the only forum that’s been scheduled in the primary contest.

The League of Women Voters of Lake County will host the event. To register, visit bit.ly/Primary10th2026.

The 10th District includes parts of Cook, Lake and McHenry counties. The primary is March 17, and early voting starts Thursday, Feb. 5.

Republican Carl Lambrecht of Highland Park is unopposed for the GOP nomination.
