Waukegan man convicted of sexually assaulting child
A man has been convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and criminal sexual assault for attacks on a child in 2006 in Aurora.
A Kane County jury convicted Glenn Wilson on Jan. 28.
Wilson, 59, of the 2600 block of Iroquois Avenue in Waukegan, was the child’s stepfather at the time, according to a news release from the Kane County state’s attorney’s office.
The charges were filed in January 2024.
Wilson faces a minimum of 40 years in prison. He is not eligible for probation, according to the news release.
His next court date is April 9 for post-trial motions and sentencing.
