Round Lake Police Department announces Officer of the Year

The Round Lake Police Department has announced Officer Nicholas Bowman as its 2025 Officer of the Year.

Officer Bowman began his career with the Round Lake Police Department in 2022, and he currently works within the Patrol Section. Officer Bowman regularly achieves high performance and promotes positive work relationships. Officer Bowman is a Field Training Officer and leads newly hired officers through initial training. He has future aspirations of becoming a detective and is highly self-motivated.

Officer Bowman is a highly trusted employee who provides extremely valuable service to the Village and community. Whether he is investigating crimes, participating in community events, or helping his fellow officers, Officer Bowman does so with pride and humility. The Round Lake Police Department are very proud to have Officer Bowman as a member of its team.
