‘Outsider’ understands what Illinois needs

The second highest property taxes in the United States is the biggest reason as to why Illinois has the third highest outward migration in the nation.

During the seven years of Pritzker’s administration, property taxes have increased by $4 billion with a current effective property tax rate of 2.3%. By contrast, Indiana’s property tax rate is 1% on households. In Cook County, property taxes rose by nearly $872 million in 2025, a 4.8% increase. Not only do high tax rates have an effect on households, but they also have an effect on businesses and the economy in general. A healthy economy goes hand in hand with making life more affordable.

Ted Dabrowski’s record as a public policy analyst, his experience as the former vice president of the Illinois Policy Institute and President of Wire Points (providing nonpartisan research of Illinois’ economy and government) confirms that he is not just another politician. Instead, he is an outsider who has looked in and does not like what he sees in Illinois.

Dabrowski as governor will first freeze the property tax rates then push for a phased-in 1% cap on property taxes tied to assessed home values. To offset the reduced tax revenue, Dabrowski and his team will DOGE Illinois and push for cuts in Illinois’ massive bloat and bureaucratic waste.

With the many economic challenges facing Illinois as an under performing state, Illinois needs a leader such as Ted Dabrowski who can implement fiscal responsibility. The lack of such results in higher spending and higher taxes.

Let’s bring tax relief and fiscal responsibility to Illinois. Vote for Ted Dabrowski for Governor in the March 17, 2026 Republican primary.
