Frozen art on display at Downers Grove Ice Festival

Ice sculptures and pedestrians filled the sidewalks along Main Street Saturday during the annual Ice Festival in Downers Grove.

More than 60 ice sculptures were displayed throughout downtown, sponsored by local businesses and organizations.

These works of ice art included an angel, a robot, a shamrock, figure skater and the fan favorite kissing booth returned this year.

You can watch live ice carving demonstrations at the corner of Main and Curtiss at the Main Street Train Station.

A map of sculptures can be found here.

The festival continues Sunday at Main and Curtiss Street, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
