The issue is how deportations occurred

On Thursday, Jan. 22, Marie Krueuer asked why Democrats did not protest deportations by Presidents Obama and Biden.

Yes, they did deport millions of illegal aliens, but it is the manner in which these actions were taken which is the difference. There were no thuggish groups of armed, masked soldiers (What else do you call men armed to the teeth in camouflaged military-style uniforms?) surging, weapons drawn, into parking lots, court houses and schools, tackling people, smashing car windows and shooting unarmed women then claiming that these people “weaponized” their cars. If I were suddenly surrounded by an armed group screaming at me to “get out of the car” I would feel threatened and would either try to flee or to defend myself. Running from danger is not “weaponization.”
