Heading into the postseason
It’s late January, which means we’re starting to see some postseason action in some winter sports. In girls gymnastics Conant won the Mid-Suburban League championhip Saturday.
In wrestling St. Charles East won its fifth consecutive DuKane Conference title. The Mid-Suburban League boys and girls wrestling crowns also were handed out.
In boys swimming, it’s not championship season yet, but there was a big meet to watch.
And basketball season continues to march on, with some fantastic nonconference matchups.
