James Colella set to join North Barrington village board

North Barrington resident James Colella is slated to be appointed to an open seat on the village board when the panel meets Wednesday night.

Colella is set to succeed former trustee Neil Morrow, who resigned in December because he and his family moved out of North Barrington, officials said.

Colella, who serves on the village’s plan commission, was selected for the trustee post by Village President Eleanor Sweet McDonnell. The village board must approve the choice.

Wednesday’s meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 111 Old Barrington Road.
