Fank! teen rock band ignites the stage at Madame Zuzu’s

Fank!, a Chicago-based, high-energy, psychedelic band will take the stage from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Madame Zuzu’s, 1876 1st Street, Highland Park, performing their original songs, including their upcoming new single, dropping Jan. 23.

More than a concert, this event is a call to support young artists and the local arts community. At a time when under-21 live music spaces are increasingly rare, this show offers teens a safe, energizing environment to experience live music while welcoming parents, siblings and supporters of all ages to join in the excitement.

Fank! is a Chicago-based band making noise for all the right reasons. Formed by Byron Siragusa, Luca Federighi, Wyatt Tiberia and Owen Santiago, this four-piece act is turning teenage energy into something bigger: a mix of psychedelia, prog-rock and raw emotion that feels as alive as it is unpredictable. At its core, Fank! is about connection; between each other, the audience and the moments that make growing up feel impossible and amazing all at once. Their songs capture that restlessness in-between: heartbreak, confidence, discovery and the need to feel seen. Fank! isn’t chasing trends, they’re creating a sound that reflects who they are now and who they’re becoming.

7th Period, a seven-piece teenage ensemble that plays jazz, funk and soul, will open for Fank! Courtesy of Fank!

Fank! is also excited for their opening band, 7th Period, a seven-piece teenage ensemble that plays jazz, funk and soul. The band continues to grow by exploring the versatility of their instruments and sharing their love of rhythmically upbeat music to all audiences, especially their own. 7th Period includes Noah Hunt (tenor sax), Simone Hewitt (tenor sax), Dylan Wooller (trumpet), Dalston Wooller (alto sax), Ben Williams (guitar), Leonidas Patton (bass) and Brooke Van Haelewyn (drums).

This event is mixed seating/standing. Doors open at 6 p.m. All tickets are general admission, and cost $10 (plus tax). Snacks and drinks available for purchase. For tickets, visit madamezuzus.com or Eventbrite
