Crash leaves at least one badly hurt, shuts down Lake County intersection

At least one person was badly injured Tuesday afternoon in an automobile crash in the Deer Park area, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 3:15 p.m. at Lake-Cook and Quentin roads. The intersection was shut down as crews responded, Lake County sheriff’s Deputy Chief Chris Covelli said.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or people were hurt.
