Arlington Heights Garden Club offers scholarship in environmental fields

Every year, the Arlington Heights Garden Club awards one or more scholarships up to $2,000 each to local students pursuing studies in horticulture, landscape architecture, sustainability, botany, forestry, environmental science, marine biology or related fields.

Since 2003, the club has awarded 50 academic scholarships to outstanding students.

Applicants must be residents of the Chicago Northwest suburbs adjacent to and including Arlington Heights. Proceeds from the annual plant sale and annual garden walk are used to fund the scholarship program.

Deadline for applications is March 15, 2026. Recipients will be announced in early May.
