Skate in the Park in Grayslake features professional skaters and other activities

The fourth annual Skate in the Park will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at Gelatin Park in Grayslake, just south of Central Park off Railroad Avenue and west of the Grayslake Area Public Library.

The event begins with professional figure skaters at noon followed by skating (bring your own skates), lessons, a shoot-the-puck contest, games, fire pit, s’mores and hot chocolate. It is sponsored by the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce, Grayslake Village Center, and the village of Grayslake.
