Huntley church offers Bible study on Book of James
Senior Pastor Mark Boster will hold a seven-week Bible study on the Book of James, “Finding Your Place and Purpose in Christ,” on Wednesdays, starting Jan. 7 through Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley,
All are welcome to attend and no prior Bible study experience needed. Whether you are new to the Bible, returning after time away, or seeking renewed direction in your walk with Christ, this study offers wisdom, encouragement, and community. Discover how God is already at work — shaping your faith, clarifying your calling, and sending you into the world with purpose.
“Our Bible study on the Book of James is a practical and hope-filled guide to living faith in everyday life,” said Pastor Mark Boster. “James speaks to people who are asking real questions, such as: Where do I belong? What is my purpose? How do I live my faith in a complicated world? Together we will explore how faith shapes identity, guides our choices, forms our relationships, and calls us into meaningful action.
This study is grounded in Scripture, honest conversation, and simple weekly practices that help connect God’s Word to daily life.
