Would you like to begin the new year in a meaningful way? Come join others for a time of quiet reflection with meditation and prayer.

“Release & Renew,” a self-guided practice of meditation, practice and prayer, will take place in an open house format between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley.
