Vehicle crashes into Batavia pizza parlor
The Batavia Police Department is investigating after a car crashed into Rosati’s Pizza in Batavia Wednesday, which put two employees in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 77-year-old man in a Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into the building at around 2:30 p.m. after picking up a food order, police said.
The man said he was having mechanical issues and accidentally put his car in drive. Police said they have reason to believe he was experiencing a medical issue.
The crash caused significant damage to the building and injured two employees.
The employees and the driver were all transported to the hospital.
