Aurora man faces child pornography charges

An Aurora man has been charged with child sexual abuse material crimes.

Jose E. Delacruz, 25, of the 1900 block of Tall Oaks Drive, is charged with 32 felony counts of dissemination of child pornography, production of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Aurora police investigated after receiving a tip from a national reporting system.

On Thursday, a Kane County judge ordered that Delacruz be detained pretrial.

His next court date is Jan. 7.
