Limited agreement on economy

I do not agree with Byron York very much, but I did see some of his points in the Dec. 14 article.

Yes, Trump needs to focus on the economy, but he can't because he can't stay on point and he does not care. People don't focus on issues of foreign policy, political correctness, etc., as top priorities because, as the Maslow Self Actualization theory suggests, they focus on physiological needs, safety and security (food, health care), love and belonging first.

I also don't agree that the Biden economy was so bad. Sure, inflation was high, primarily because the COVID crisis created supply chain shortages, and Biden's economic money policy encouraged people to buy, forcing prices up. At the time, that money seemed like a good idea to keep people and the economy working. Biden must have been a Superman to be able to raise inflation around the world and get many countries to follow a similar economic policy.

That MAGA term is a catchy political phrase. But be careful when typing it, because "H" is right next to "G" on the keyboard. You might accidentally type "MAHA" - Make America Hate Again. Trump seems to love promoting that. The many college campus shootings this year says there is something wrong with our society and concern for each other.
