Des Plaines man charged with firing gun during dispute

A Des Plaines man was arrested Sunday after firing a gun during an argument, police said. No one was reported hurt.

Sergiu Bulbuc, 39, of the 400 block of Good Avenue, is charged with felony reckless discharge of a firearm.

The shooting reportedly occurred in Bulbuc’s neighborhood about 5:15 p.m. Bulbuc doesn’t have a valid firearm owners ID card, police said.

Bulbuc was taken to the police station, processed and released, pending a court appearance.
