Gorton’s Family Fun Package brings big shows close to home

Gorton Center has announced its new Family Fun Package, giving households an easy and affordable way to enjoy outstanding, all-ages performances without leaving the North Shore. When patrons purchase three or more Family Fun shows, they’ll receive 10% off their entire order, making it simpler than ever to plan a full year of arts experiences right in the heart of Lake Forest.

Located just steps from Market Square, Gorton continues to serve as the community’s home for high-quality arts programming, offering audiences the level of performance excellence often associated with downtown Chicago, but in a more convenient, welcoming and accessible setting.

The Family Fun Package includes the following performances:

• Holly Jolly Family Concert with the LFCO, 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21. A spirited holiday celebration featuring the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra.

• Magic of Jeki Yoo, 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17. Internationally acclaimed magician Jeki Yoo brings mind-bending illusions and playful humor.

• The Zaniac, 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25. A high-energy blend of comedy, juggling and audience fun.

• Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales, 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7. Classic tales come to life in an engaging, family-friendly performance.

• Pete the Cat, 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25. The beloved character makes the leap from page to stage in this colorful musical adventure.

• Buckets N Boards, 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. Rhythm, laughter and nonstop creativity from this wildly popular percussion and comedy duo.
