Complaints, no solutions

Numerous letters and articles in the newspapers lately contain complaints about ICE actions and Trump’s policies regarding enforcement of our immigration laws.

Admittedly, some of ICE’s actions seem too aggressive, if you can believe the news reports, which in the Chicago area are just a wee bit biased.

What I have yet to see are any suggestions about how our immigration laws should be enforced.

I suspect many readers think we shouldn’t bother to enforce these laws, but how does that square with these same people who claim “no one is above the law”? It is easy to complain and rail against Trump, but how about offering some better solutions? I won’t hold my breath waiting for these suggestions.
