Open the government, then fix health care

OK, let me get this straight. The government is shut down because a spending bill that legislators approved nine previous times is not acceptable to Democrats. The Senate is the roadblock.

Democrats want more money for healthcare. OK, I can understand that aspect of their tantrum. What I don’t understand is the fact that millions came across our southern border, primarily, and now Democrats want to foot the bill for free health care for those here illegally.

Durbin, Duckworth, Schumer and others, open the government and then work on health care funding for a logical conclusion.

Start representing constituents who are actually legal citizens and not border crashers.
