Last year’s fall fundraiser raised $24,000 in scholarships and $16,000 for local nonprofit organizations, said Sally Johnson, who handles publicity for Cress Creek Garden Club.

“The Cress Creek Garden Club consists of members from Naperville and surrounding communities,” Johnson said. “We continue to grow in our outreach and mission. Without our community support our scholarship program, education program and donations to local nonprofit organizations would not be possible.”

Johnson said she is also grateful for generous sponsors of Hats Off to 50 Years such as Gerald Subaru of Naperville.

“We would not be able to continue without the tremendous support of local businesses, such as Gerald Subaru of Naperville,” Johnson said. “We know how much Subaru values the environment and conservation.”

Gerald Subaru of Naperville is honored to be part of an event and organization that helps inspire future generations to care for nature in the community.

“It’s wonderful to see how the Cress Creek Garden Club continues to nurture both our community and the environment,” said Donna Lawler of the Gerald Auto Group. “Supporting their mission aligns perfectly with Subaru’s commitment to sustainability and giving back to the communities we serve.”
