Waukegan Park District celebrating the Halloween season with Spooktacular programs and events

The Waukegan Park District is celebrating the Halloween season with programs and events throughout October. The programming includes free and low-cost programs for children and adults.

The following Halloween-themed programs and events will be offered in October:

• Sunday, Oct. 26: Halloween Concert from 7-8 p.m. at the Orlin Trapp Auditorium in the Waukegan High School — Brookside Campus, 2325 Brookside Ave., Waukegan

• Monday, Oct. 27: Fitness After Dark from 7:15-8:15 p.m. at the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center, 800 Baldwin Ave., Waukegan

• Thursday, Oct. 30: Zumba Fitness Night from 6-7 p.m. at the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center

• Friday, Oct. 31: Haunted Waukegan Tour from 6-7:30 p.m. starting at the Waukegan History Museum at the Carnegie, 1 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan.

The Waukegan Park District is hosting the 2025 Halloween Trick or Treat Trail from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Bowen Park, 1800 N. Sheridan Road. The event will feature an enchanted trail with professionally costumed characters. Children will receive candy throughout the trail, while supplies last. The Halloween Trick or Treat Trail is free and advance registration is not required to attend.
