Elgin accepting nominations for its 2025 holiday tree

Elgin is accepting nominations for its 2025 holiday tree that will be displayed in DuPage Court.

The tree must be 30 to 40 feet tall, in good health, located within 30 miles of Elgin, and preferably be a Norway Spruce, Colorado Blue Spruce, fir tree or evergreen.

Submissions are due by Sunday, Oct. 26, and tree owners should include full name, address, email and phone number along with a brief explanation of why the tree should be considered, as well as at least four photos of the tree showing its height, circumference and overall health.
