Hanover Township Aging Services receives $550,000-plus in grant funding

The Hanover Township Department of Aging Services recently received $553,375 in grant funding from AgeOptions to support the township’s nutrition and social services, as well as senior center operations, programming and transportation services for older adults.

AgeOptions awarded $241,805 to support the township’s Home Delivered Meal Program.

The township received $118,663 for senior center operations, programming, counseling and transportation services.

The Stars N Stripes Café, the township’s congregate meal program located in the Senior Center, received $105,204 in funding.

The township’s Caregiver Resource Center (CRC) received $87,703 from AgeOptions.
