Fremd and Round Lake were among the girls flag football teams who won regional titles Thursday.

West Aurora also picked a regional crown with a hard-fought win over Wheaton North.

Carmel knocked off Prospect to advance to sectionals as a No. 1 seed.

Willowbrook and Naperville Central beat St. Edward and Glenbard West, respectively, and now will face each other Monday at the South Elgin sectional.
