Must forum be silenced?

Since the online forum of the Daily Herald was suddenly stopped, I recall when engaged with someone whose opinion differed greatly from mine, that I would respond by saying, “I don’t agree with your views but would defend your freedom to express them.”

Now, all our views have been silenced.

Why, Daily Herald? Why?
