Geneva accepting applications for Citizen Police Academy

The Geneva Police Department is accepting applications for its 2025 Citizen Police Academy.

The academy provides participants with an overview of the department and a behind-the-scenes look at police operations. The free program will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 6 to Dec. 11, at the Geneva Police Department.

Applicants must be 21 years old and be a Geneva resident or business owner.

Applications are available on the city’s website and at the police station. Completed applications can be dropped off or mailed to the Geneva Police Department, 20 Police Plaza, Geneva, IL 60134. The deadline is Oct. 27.
