Libertyville church donates hundreds of quilts and school supplies

Members of the Service Workshop group at Grace Lutheran Church in Libertyville have been making quilts and baby care kits and collecting school supplies to donate to Lutheran World Relief for years.

Lutheran World Relief is an organization that helps people in need and sets them on a path to self-sufficiency.

This year, the members made 395 quilts and filled 200 school supply bags! Grace Lutheran Church joins with Lutheran World Relief in knowing that each quilt and kit reflects God’s loving presence in a world filled with suffering.

The church at 501 Valley Park Drive offers 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship with Communion as well as Sunday school for ages 4 through sixth grade.
