Flu shots available at Des Plaines Library Oct. 14

Illinois Sen. Laura Murphy of Des Plaines is joining Ascension Holy Family to host a free flu vaccination event on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

“The flu virus changes every year, so the best way to keep yourself and your community healthy is to get your annual flu vaccination,” Murphy said in a statement.

The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon in Meeting Room A of the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St. in Des Plaines. Flu shots will be available to anyone 18 years or older. Walk-ins are welcome.
