Enjoy Taylor Swift’s new album with fellow fans in Des Plaines

Taylor Swift fans will gather at the Des Plaines Public Library on Oct. 18 to enjoy the superstar’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

The listening party is set from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Commons at the library, 1501 Ellinwood St. It’s open to seventh- through 12th-graders.

“The Life of a Showgirl” is scheduled for release Friday, Oct. 3, in digital and physical form. It’s from Republic Records.
