Free veterinary clinic Saturday in Park Ridge

People can get their pets vaccinated and receive other services Saturday during a free veterinary clinic in Park Ridge.

The clinic will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maine Township hall, 1700 Ballard Road. Township officials are teaming with the Cook County Animal Control Department for the event.

People bringing the first 100 pets to the event won’t be charged. Anyone can attend.

In addition to medical treatments, microchips that can help reunite lost pets with owners will be available.
