Downtown Lake Zurich intersection closed through mid-November

The intersection of Old Rand Road and Main Street in Lake Zurich will be closed to all traffic through mid-November as part of an ongoing improvement project.

Detour signs and business access routes are posted.

The work is part of a $4 million streetscape enhancement effort expected to dramatically change the look and feel of downtown Lake Zurich. It includes new landscaping, sidewalks, crosswalks and other upgrades.

The village has created a landing page for the most direct way to access businesses on Main Street and Old Rand Road during closure of the intersection. The site is at https://lakezurich.org/798.
