Pregis has opened a 477,000-square-foot facility in Elgin that serves as its premier paper converting center. This state-of-the-art operation will produce more than 1 billion curbside recyclable paper packaging solutions annually while operating as a zero-waste complex powered by renewable energy. As Pregis's primary Midwest hub for recyclable paper mailer production, the center will support more than 500 jobs and its packaging solutions will divert an estimated 33,000 tons of waste from landfills annually.
