Palatine Fire Department open house Oct. 4

The Palatine Fire Department will host its annual open house from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at Fire Station 84, 220 W. Illinois Ave.

Families are invited to watch demonstrations from the fire department, spray a fire hose, see fire equipment up close, take pictures next to a fire engine and watch how sprinklers can reduce the loss of property and life in a fire.
