Arlington Heights celebrates German heritage with food, dances and crafts
Community members celebrated Arlington Heights’ German heritage Saturday with food, traditional Bavarian performances, dance, and live music from Die Kellerknaben during Oktoberfest at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum.
The Society of Danube Swabians’ youth group performed traditional dances as families took a break from making crafts, including pretzel necklaces.
