Time will tell on tariffs

The United States Appeals Court has dealt President Donald J. Trump an adverse opinion concerning the tariffs and the way they should be interpreted.

The court frowns on how charges are applied to foreign countries. The president says tariffs are needed to protect the United States because, as he stated, former leaders did little if anything to protect our commerce due to unfair trade costs. So, President Donald J. Trump signed documents lambasting how the United States was being taken advantage of.

The United States Appeals Court views the tariff matter differently. You could say that President Donald J. Trump has appointed himself as a bit of a czar, and as such, all matters are treated as he sees fit. The United States Appeals Court has allowed till mid-October an appeal to be United States Supreme Court.

Time will tell.
