Gurnee launches new emergency alert system

Gurnee has launched a new and improved emergency alert system.

Operated by Regroup, the system delivers real-time emergency alerts, severe weather alerts, road closures, public safety notifications and service announcements by phone call, text, email or the app.

Residents, businesses and visitors can sign up for alerts at www.gurnee.il.us/alerts. If you were previously signed up for the previous system, you must register to continue receiving alerts.
